Solicitor Director
Nicholas is the founder and principal of Hallcross Legal and has in depth experience across all our areas of practice. Nicholas has extensive experience acting for clients in all jurisdictions of the Australian Courts and frequents the Federal Court of Australia and the Supreme Court of New South Wales, together with other jurisdictions such as the District Court of New South Wales and the NCAT.

Having worked across national and boutique firms, Michael has earned a wealth of expertise in commercial litigation, restructuring, insolvency and general commercial.

Lawyer
Maria is a dedicated and results-driven lawyer with a broad background in legal and commercial matters. Prior to being admitted, Maria spent several years as a paralegal, building a solid foundation in legal research, case preparation, and client support. She then joined the Administrative Review Tribunal as an Associate and was shortly after paired with Senior Member Lazanas as a Senior Associate.
Nicki Yahyaabady
Lawyer
Nicki is a lawyer with experience in a range of areas of the law including commercial litigation, debt recovery, corporate insolvency and succession. Since her admission as a solicitor in 2024, Nicki has worked with individuals, small to medium sized enterprises, larger corporate entities across all levels of the legal system, including the District and Supreme Courts of New South Wales, and the Federal and Family Court of Australia.

Law Clerk
Sofia has recently completed a Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Business Administration at the Australian Catholic University. Since joining as a clerk at Hallcross Legal in 2024, Sofia has continued to fine-tune the skills and knowledge to assist the directors and wider team. Sophia, supports the firm across a range of litigation, property and insolvency matters, in addition to complex commercial disputes.

Brianna Hanna
Law Clerk
Brianna has recently completed a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Business Administration, bringing a strong foundation in both legal principles and commercial operations to her role. While completing her studies, Brianna gained two years of experience in the real estate and construction industry, bringing a wealth of knowledge, in contract administration, property transactions and managing legal disputes.
